Meet Lauren and Tom in Oxted, Surrey

This is a project that truly reflects the magic of transformation and the joy of working with amazing clients like Lauren and Tom. ๐ŸŒŸ

Lauren and Tom, bursting with excitement in their new home, faced a common dilemma. Their hallway, the gateway to their beautiful abode, felt dark, dingy, and lacked that inviting touch they longed for. Eager to welcome friends and family, they envisioned a special entrance that mirrored their style and showcased their pride in their new home.

Project Scope:

A practical and transit zone in need of a welcoming makeover. Dark and tired, yearning for a refresh and modern touch. Our mission included adding light through strategic changes โ€“ a new front door, revamped flooring, updated cupboard doors, and the infusion of captivating artwork.

Client Insights:

Lauren and Tom adored the large window framing the top of the stairs, allowing abundant light. Good storage in the cupboard next to the front door and a liking for the banister style were highlights. However, they struggled to find love for the space due to its tired appearance, lack of personality, and disproportionate lighting.

Design Discovery:

Exploring their design preferences, we uncovered a cool and trendy, yet individualistic style. They cherished pops of colour creating captivating moments, embraced a slight eclectic vibe, and had a love for incorporating vintage, hand-made, and reclaimed items. Lauren's green thumb and passion for plants were evident, along with a collection of art awaiting display.

The Creative Process:

After gathering insights, I curated inspirational images and crafted a blueprint design. The goal was to empower Lauren and Tom to execute the vision themselves.

The Wow Moment:

Fast forward to the results โ€“ a stunning, welcoming zone that truly reflects their style and pride. Lauren and Tom actively engaged in the process, pouring commitment and investment into their home. The once dark and unloved hallway now stands as a beautiful testament to their dedication.

I couldn't be prouder of this transformation and the fantastic journey with Lauren and Tom. It's not just about design; it's about creating spaces that resonate with the people who live in them.

Here's to more magical transformations and the joy of turning houses into homes! ๐Ÿกโœจ
